Hydromatic Announces New 2HP Explosion-Proof Grinder Pumps

Ashland, Ohio – March, 2002 – Hydromatic announces a new series of 2HP explosion-proof grinder pumps for hazardous locations in the municipal, industrial and commercial markets. The new HPGX is design with a vertical discharge and performs at 100 feet with maximum flows of 60 GPM. The HPGX series includes a dual ball bearing design, moisture sensor for maximum protection, and a three barrier seal within the cord assembly to ensure reliable operation. For use in lower head applications, Hydromatic offers the HPGLX, designed with a smaller impeller and volute. Complete packaged systems for both models are available.
